Mailing the item: You are responsible for packaging and shipping your item to Thrifty Yard at your own cost. Items must be received in the condition described — we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
8% commission: When your item sells, Thrifty Yard retains an 8% commission on the final sale price. The remaining 92% is paid out to you within 7 business days of the buyer receiving the item and the return window closing.
Listing period: Items are listed for up to 60 days. If unsold, we will contact you to relist, reduce the price, or return the item (return shipping at your cost).
Eligible items: We reserve the right to decline items that are damaged, hazardous, or unlikely to sell. Approved items become listings on the For You store at our discretion.

You cover the cost of shipping the item to our warehouse. We recommend using a tracked shipping service so your package is insured in transit.
We handle that. The buyer pays for shipping at checkout, and we ship the item from our warehouse — you don't have to deal with the buyer at all.
If your item hasn't sold after 60 days, we'll contact you to either relist it at a lower price, extend the listing, or return it to you (return shipping at your cost).
We accept most second-hand and vintage items in sellable condition — collectibles, electronics, small furniture, tools, clothing, books, and more. We don't accept hazardous materials, weapons, or items in poor condition.
We send your payout within 7 business days of the item being delivered to the buyer and the return window closing. Payouts are sent via Interac e-Transfer or PayPal.
