When to Use the Appraisal Tool

The free appraisal tool gives you a value estimate based on real eBay sold prices. Use it before you:

Sell an item — get a sense of what it may be worth before you set a price.
Price a yard sale item — decide whether to list it at $2 or $20.
List an item online — set a fair asking price for marketplaces.
Decide whether to keep it — find out if something is worth holding onto or selling.

This tool provides an estimate to guide your pricing decisions — it is not a professional certified appraisal.

Mailing the item: You package and ship your item to Thrifty Yard at your own cost. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

8% commission: When your item sells, we retain an 8% commission on the final sale price. The remaining 92% is paid to you within 7 business days.

Listing period: Items are listed for up to 60 days. If unsold, we'll contact you to relist, reduce the price, or return the item (return shipping at your cost).
